Acceleration for sports. If this interest you and you are one of them, continue to read. We have met plenty of athletes across team sports having the same question: “I want to be faster and more powerful! How do I do it?” Solution? Work on basic acceleration mechanics. You can’t cheat the law of nature. For most sports, while Top End speed is not utilised most of the time, but that doesn’t mean having proper acceleration isn’t important. In fact, if an athlete can master and maximise the FIRST 2 push (steps), this will allow the athlete to reach the a higher speed quicker. Here’s a mid-week thought by founder of MaxForm @_yaops_ (a.k.a Coach Lim).

Coaching is both art and science. While a coach can be brilliant in both departments, one must remember that the humanistic aspect comes first.

To have success in our coaching, we (coaches) must remember that the foundation lies in the strength of the relationship. That’s the environment where trust and openness (and vulnerability) are nurtured and thrive in.

When something thrives, it multiplies and leads to higher chance of success!
